Celebrate your football triumphs – use a mount footy!

using the mount footy picture frame

Celebrate your football triumphs with a mount footy unit. Of course, you can just hang it up and put the balls in….

Or you can go to town and personalise it.  The unit comes with an empty frame which slots in the top so you can add a photo into it.

Ideas for which picture to use:

  • you in your kit with your winning medal / cup / certificate etc
  • your team photo
  • your favourite player in action
  • your team badge or stadium shot

How to use the Picture Frame

Choose a photo you have already had printed (4 x 6 inches works fine), or resize on a computer and print yourself, or cut one out of a magazine. To get the right shape use the photo frame circle, and score lightly or draw around the circle. In this way you can see how your photo will be cropped once it’s in the frame.  Then cut the circle out and place your photo between the blank circular wooden shape and the picture frame shape.  Put both pieces into the slot in the top shelf. You may need to cut your picture out as an ever slightly smaller circle, for it not to poke out the sides!

It could be a photo of your favourite player, or of the team you support.  Or you could make your own collage or illustration.

But the best thing is you can put your own photo in there, or your team, so you can celebrate your own ‘grass roots’ football achievements.

Shout about your #GloryDays

Here in the UK I think we are quite bad at blowing our own trumpets, and once we’ve played that final or scored that winning goal, we don’t shout about it in later years.  Keep reminding yourself by suspending a Mount Footy in your hall, kitchen, study or your home office, but make sure it’s in a corner or somewhere it won’t keep getting knocked!

Or even better, give a Mount Footy as a gift to someone who used to play and still loves the game – your mum, dad or even your grandparents. It could be a great way to get them to share their footballing stories & past successes.  Everyone loves to chat about their ‘glory days’.
