For users that register on our website (if any), we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.

Purchase information will be kept for 7 years for financial and taxation purposes.

What rights you have over your data

If you have an account on this site, or have left comments, you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us. You can also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.

Opt-out – You may opt-out of future email communications by following the unsubscribe links in our emails. You may also notify us at hello@mountfooty.co.uk to be removed from our mailing list.

Access – You may access the personal information we have about you and request a copy of that data in an electronically portable form by submitting a subject access request to hello@mountfooty.co.uk. In accordance with GDPR stipulations, we will respond to subject data requests within one calendar month.

Amend – You may contact us hello@mountfooty.co.uk to amend or update your personal information.

Forget – In certain situations, you may request that we erase or forget your personal data and you may wish to withdraw consent. To do so, please submit a request to hello@mountfooty.co.uk. Please note that we may need to retain certain information for recordkeeping purposes or to complete transactions, or when required by law.

WooCommerce

We collect information about you during the checkout process on our store.

What we collect and store

While you visit our site, we’ll track:

• Products you’ve viewed: we’ll use this to, for example, show you products you’ve recently viewed
• Location, IP address and browser type: we’ll use this for purposes like estimating taxes and shipping
• Shipping address: we’ll ask you to enter this so we can, for instance, estimate shipping before you place an order, and send you the order!
• We’ll also use cookies to keep track of basket contents while you’re browsing our site.

When you purchase from us, we’ll ask you to provide information including your name, billing address, shipping address, email address, phone number, credit card/payment details and optional account information like username and password. We’ll use this information for purposes, such as, to:

• Send you information about your account and order
• Respond to your requests, including refunds and complaints
• Process payments and prevent fraud
• Set up your account for our store
• Comply with any legal obligations we have, such as calculating taxes
• Improve our store offerings
• Send you marketing messages, if you choose to receive them

If you create an account, we will store your name, address, email and phone number, which will be used to populate the checkout for future orders.

We generally store information about you for as long as we need the information for the purposes for which we collect and use it, and we are not legally required to continue to keep it. For example, we will store order information for 7 years for tax and accounting purposes. This includes your name, email address and billing and shipping addresses.

We will also store comments or reviews, if you choose to leave them.

Who on our team has access

Members of our (very small!) team have access to the information you provide us. Administrators can access:

• Order information like what was purchased, when it was purchased and where it should be sent, and
• Customer information like your name, email address, and billing and shipping information.

Our team members have access to this information to help fulfil orders, process refunds and support you.

What we share with others

We may share information with third parties who help us provide our orders and store services to you.

Payments

We accept payments through PayPal which also allows you to pay with your card if you do not have a PayPal account. When processing payments, some of your data will be passed to PayPal, including information required to process or support the payment, such as the purchase total and billing information.

When shopping, we keep a record of your email and the basket contents for up to 30 days on our server. This record is kept to repopulate the contents of your basket if you switch devices or needed to come back another day.

Third-Party Use of Personal Information

We may share your information with third parties when you explicitly authorise us to share your information.

Additionally, mountfooty.co.uk may use third-party service providers to service various aspects of the Website. Each third-party service provider’s use of your personal information is dictated by their respective privacy policies.

Newsletters

mountfooty.co.uk provides the option to subscribe to a newsletter, which may be used for advertising purposes. All newsletters sent may contain tracking pixels. The pixel is embedded in emails and allows an analysis of the success of online marketing campaigns. Because of these tracking pixels, we may see if and when you open an email and which links within the email you click. Also, this allows mountfooty.co.uk to adapt the content of future newsletters to the interests of the user. This behaviour will not be passed on to third parties.

Newsletters are only sent to those who have specifically consented to opt-in for marketing communications. We would store your name and email address for purposes of delivering such communications. At this time, your personal information is not shared with any other third-party applications. This list may be amended from time to time at mountfooty.co.uk’s sole discretion.

Except when required by law, we will not sell, distribute, or reveal your email addresses or other personal information without your consent; however, we may disclose or transfer personal information collected through the Website to third parties who acquire all or a portion of our business, which may be the result of a merger, consolidation, or purchase of all or a portion of our assets, or in connection with any bankruptcy or reorganisation proceeding brought by or against us.

Google Analytics

This service tracks Website usage and provides information such as referring websites and user actions on the Website. Google Analytics may capture your IP address, but no other personal information is captured by Google Analytics. For sites running WooCommerce (also owned by Automattic) and this feature simultaneously and having all purchase tracking explicitly enabled, purchase events will send Google Analytics the following information: order number, product id and name, product category, total cost, and quantity of items purchased.

Activity Tracked: This feature sends page view events (and potentially video play events) over to Google Analytics for consumption. For sites running WooCommerce-powered stores, some additional events are also sent to Google Analytics: shopping cart additions and removals, product listing views and clicks, product detail views, and purchases.
